Does Spokt work offline?

Generated audio plays offline once it's downloaded to your device. Initial audio generation and transcribing imported audiobooks need an internet connection.

Can I use my Audible or Kindle library?

You can import any MP3 or M4B audio file you own. DRM-protected files (like Audible downloads) aren't supported — that's a platform restriction, not a Spokt one.

Is my data private?

Documents you import are used solely to generate your audio and transcripts. Nothing is sold, shared, or used to train third-party models. Your library stays yours.

How long does audio generation take?

Most documents finish in under a minute. Generation runs in the background — you can close the app and you'll get a notification when your audio is ready in your library.

Is there a free tier?

Yes. Edge voices are unlimited and you get monthly credits for premium voices, so you can try the full experience before upgrading.

What is Immersive Mode?

A focused reading view that centers one sentence on screen while audio plays, with the current word lit and the rest dimmed. Loop a line, translate it, or save any word you tap.

Which languages does translation support? Is it free?

Apple translation is free and covers every language Apple ships on your device. Founder Plus adds contextual AI translation that uses the surrounding sentences for sharper meaning.

How do I save and review words I look up?

Long-press any word during playback, then tap Save on the translation popover. Every saved word lives in one Saved Words list across all your books — available on Founder Plus.

Which app interface languages are supported?

Nine: English, العربية, Español, Français, Deutsch, Italiano, Português (BR), 日本語, and 한국어. Arabic is fully right-to-left across every screen.
